Rhonda Bailey is originally from Indiana , but has lived in Rowan County for nearly 6 years and has a B.S. Degree in Art Education.

            Rhonda believes that art is a tangible representation of spirit and therefore works in a wide variety of media including ceramics, painting, collage, photography and computer graphics.  Her creations range from naturalistic to abstract.

            Aside from being a visual artist, Rhonda also writes stories for children and poetry.  When teaching art she prefers a holistic approach of weaving together culture, art, music and theater form a historical perspective to promote a deeper understanding for her students.
