Art has been an interest for Kay Schafer since childhood. After being a member of two art organizations in the Lexington Area she moved to Morehead and became one of the group of original members of the Morehead Art Guild.
Kay works in oils and acrylic as
well as pen and ink. Some of
her favorite subjects are landscapes, horses and people.
She has taken brief workshops with several professional artists and
